RWM (Radio web MACBA)
RWM should be nominated for its original content, for the use of the podcast format and for the links that are set between on-line and on-site activites.
RWM is a radio-phonic project from the MACBA’s website running since 2006, that explores the possibilities of the Internet and radio as spaces of synthesis and exhibition. RWM programmes are available on demand, and as a podcast subscription.
Nowadays we have four different lines of programmes:
SON[I]A aims to be an alternative way to receive the information produced during Museum activities; audio information brought to us by characters who take part in activities in and around the MACBA.
The SPECIALS programs focus on projects by artists and curators who have some kind of connection to the Museum's programming and the MACBA Collection.
The CURATORIAL line of programmes devoted to exploring the complex map of sound art from different points of view in organised curatorial cycles.
RESEARCH opens a line of broadcast programmes that aim to provide up-close views of scenes and key persons in the world of contemporary art.
Each RWM program gathers related information in the form of links that are available in a del.icio.us user account with the aim of sharing and revealing all additional relevant documentation.
