Integrating the Arts: Mummies, Manuscripts, and Madonnas

This site is designed as an arts integration website for teachers, where frameworks, tools, methods and contributions of the disciplines of art, social studies, science, language arts, and math are brought to bear on works of art from the Walter's ancient and medieval collections to create a new, integrated understanding of these time periods. The site allows teachers, regardless of their technical ability to access printable lesson plans, flash interactives and images to enhance their curriculum, while providing a model for a creative, inquiry-based process of teaching and learning.
