A medium-short walk from the Hyatt, or a quick hop on a free MallRide bus plus a shorter walk, can get you to the Wynkoop Brewing Company's vegetarian green chili (yum) and spinach salad (also yum); and the Wynkoop MallRide stop happens to be right next to a great used/new book store, Tattered Cover. A shortcut to Wynkoop's menu PDF is http://bit.ly/bz1hb8 ; for more, see http://www.wynkoop.com.

PS for menu examiners: on the salad, they can swap in queso fresco, asiago, or smoked cheddar instead of its blue cheese, or can just leave it off. And of course they brew their own fine beverages....
Excellent, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Vegetarian green chili sounds yum!
Can anyone recommend vegetarian-friendly places around the hotel for those 'lunch on your own' days?
cheers, Mia
But quite packed on the weekends. Reservations are probably a must if you have a big group. Awesome food.

hi Jim,
you'll always find some vegetarian items on the reception menus at MW2010, since i don't eat meat ;)
just ask the server, if you're not sure.
see you in Denver!
