With Dafyd James' return home yesterday, it may be that all the #ashtag induced craziness has come to an end. Thanks to everyone for pulling together to help out colleagues were delayed by the ash of Eyjafjallajokull.
Thanks to Twitter, and Denver's free downtown wifi organizing was easy; very quickly, maps were shared showing locations of coffeshops with free wifi in Denver. There were meetups, and bike rides, and more than one road trip to the Rockies, including a visit to Nederland!
The Denver Art Museum invited everyone for lunch [thanks!]. As people spread out, there were reports from further afield, including mobile meetup in NYC – and special meeting of the SBHS.
Those of us safely home enjoyed the blog postings, and photos, and tweets of all the activity, and the excited news that people were "HOME".
And then there was the blog post about the whole thing ... and of course the T-shirt!
We promised free registration to Museums and the Web 2011 to the last person home. I think this goes to Dafyd, unless there's still a #strandedEuropean out there! Let us know...
