jennifer's just installed a new editor called tinymce.

I can insert images slate on flickr like this one from flickr and it is much easier to create text entries, with buttons for things like:

  • lists
  1. numbered lists
indented text
centered text
bold, italics, underline and strikeout
along with
highlighted text in a colour of your choice -- cute
and full HTML source editing.
2006-09-01 [the date] can be inserted automatically
and there are cut and paste buttons if you aren't using Firefox ;(
happy writing.

i'm discovering that some functions -- like image insertion -- don't work very well in Safari. We'll put up with it for a bit, to see if there's a patch.
