Job: Ideum seeks Exhibit Developer, Albuquerque, NM

Exhibit Technician 1

About Ideum:

Since 1999, Ideum has been developing media-rich experiences for museum and Web visitors across the country and around the world. We develop interactive computer-based exhibits and Web applications for museums, nonprofit organizations, and socially responsible companies. We are an internationally recognized interactive design firm located in Corrales, New Mexico (an hour from Santa Fe). Please see our portfolio site and blog to learn more about us: http://www.ideum.com

The Position:

We seek a full-time exhibit developer who can help us build and install computer-based multi-touch tables and custom exhibit installations. We also need help with technical documentation, email and phone support, so strong writing and communication skills are required. Please see: http://www.ideum.com/products/multitouch.html

This is an entry-level position, so we don’t expect applicants to have museum or exhibit experience, but we are looking for someone with fabrication, shop skills, electric skills, and some experience with computers. We’re a small company, so we need someone who is flexible
and has a diverse skill set. The job will eventually require travel for installations.
