This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned strategic marketing professional, with exceptional expertise in digital strategy, who would be interested in furthering a significant moral imperative while setting strategic direction for the utilization of new and unique digital methods of engagement for this federally mandated global Museum.  The Holocaust Museum is in the midst of significant change and has recently hired its’ first ever CMO to lead the newly formed marketing department.  They are in the early states of rebuilding their website, which is the leading authority on the Holocaust - the Director will have oversight for this rebuild.  The Director will partner across the organization to lead the Museum’s digital presence and engage its multiple audiences across a variety of interactive channels, utilizing the website and its online extensions to communicate the Museum’s story and programs.  The Director will provide the vision, leadership and oversight for the Museum’s online presence.

We are looking to speak with strategic marketing professionals who have deep experience in developing digital strategies and programs for complex organizations and multiple audiences; significant management experience both in assessing talent and building teams is critical; an effective leader who can build relationships and lead in a complex, matrixed environment; and must have good understanding of web content management systems and workflow and understand search engine optimization.  This position reports to the CMO.
