Adding to the Research Forum: history of computing in museums

There's a thread over on the MCN list -- not archived! -- about early sources for the history of the use of computers in museums. It occured to me that this was the kind of thing we should be recording and making available here.

Any thoughts on this as sub-area of the Research Forum?
