MW2.0

here goes ... the 2.0 test for MW2006. We thought it was about time to see what we could do within the MW community to enable interaction, both during the Museums and the Web conference, and later on, too, if this sticks.

These tools are supposed to be quick and easy to use. So far, so good. The Drupal install began late in the day on March 14, and we're 'live' not quite so late in the day on March 15. not bad for a team of 1 (and some helpful people on the other end of email.)

fingers crossed the rest is as straightforward.

Hi Jennifer. I'm going through the lists of demos this morning, and couldn't find this Drupal site on the list... :-( It would be cool to see an administrator's view or to see more on what it's like to set up!

Sorry Brian. Being in one place that long isn't an option for me at MW :) I'm planning on posting on what's behind this site when i'm back in the office next week. If you're interested in seeing how drupal works, there's a sandbox at http://opensourcecms.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=132

OpenSourceCMS.com is a useful place to see what features the various platforms offer.

Congrats on getting this up. Nice job of organizing the myriad of functions and content. While the site is currently focused the 2006 conference, I'm hoping the online "version" of MW will grow to be more for/about the community than the annual event. No doubt that is the vision here. Cheers!

We're in the middle of installing it to handle routine cms chores. I'm very excited. Not sure anyone has gotten to spend a whole day on it yet - we're probably not so different from other sites where there is too much too do and not enough hours in the day.

But hoping to see at least a blog ready to go public by next week. Let me encourage use of URLs with names more memorable and easier to figure out from the bookmarks than " /reply/2".
