MW2009 - The Backchannel Awards (part one)
So far, at MW2009, we've had a dizzy time keeping up with masses of really great interaction across Twitter, Flickr and this site, the conference blog. It's been just what we planned - the emergence of a new conversation space which works in different digital places and spaces.
You can be part of the Museums and the Web conversation from afar, from another session, from the floor, and from even from the platform too. There's now more ways to put your voice out here, and more ways to get feedback - and that's surely a great thing.
To recognise the effort that you've all put in, we're really pleased to whoop it up for some stand out contributors to the busy MW2009 backchannel. I've got some MW2009 goodies to give out to some really talented people.
And finally - the Twitter geeks - this is really hard, because you've all been adding such great value to the conference with literally hundres of comments. We're going to recognise more Twitter stars at the closing plenary, but for now we'd like to reward #1 for a great, and very hearfelt tweet which made us all laugh very much.
End message? Keep getting involved - you're making this a classic MW! More shout-outs at the Closing plenary.
come make your choice of the MW2009 goodies after the session!
