Unconference session on collaboration between archives, museums and libraries

I want to thank the professionals who discussed the issues involved when trying to get archives, libraries and museums to work together. We discussed how different cultures, standards and motivations make collaborative efforts difficult. But, theme based exhibitions can help facilitate a collaboration. Furthermore, social media applications like wikis, driven by user content, can potentially be a catalyst for collaboration by passively encouraging contribution on a topic by curators, librarians and archivists. This triumvirate can validate information and result in all seeing the information in a new light.
