Bye, bye MW09 (blog written on my flight back to Barcelona)
Now that we are taking back with us all the richness generated by mw09 attendance, here there are some after thoughts.
First, huge thanks again to David&Jennifer for their initiative and good leadership of the event, more huge thanks to the active and welcoming IMA colleagues and to all of you who attended and those of you that couldn’t be there but followed. Most participative and inspiring conference ever.
Following what was asked in the evaluation form, I think it would be very interesting for all to have some feed-back of the evaluation results (sorry, David, more work!) .And it would also be interesting to have some statistics of a) about percentage of mw attendees sorted by museums, universities, companies , individual researchers or designers, programmers, etc. and b) about the backchannel: how many tweeds, blog posts, photos on Flickr mw group.
A suggestion: do you think it could be interesting to provide some regular space on mw website acting as sort of 2.0 museum best- practices news? I’m thinking in something very simple, more a blog than a database, where notice of new 2.0 initiatives where posted.
In following posts “After mw09” I intend to comment some specific aspects that raised new ideas or projects or shaked my mind. Hope the overwork let me comply with this healthy well-meant purpose.
