Abstract

The Commonwealth Information Database (CID) had its origins in the need to provide visitors with reliable, up-to-date information on each of the fifty Commonwealth countries. Much of the information with which we deal is highly volatile, with many countries, particularly in the developing world, displaying rapidly changing economic, political and social profiles.
