Matthew Fisher is co-founder and President of Night Kitchen Interactive [www.whatscookin.com] , an award-winning design firm based in Philadelphia, PA. Founded in 1997, Night Kitchen Interactive’s services include online learning, interactive exhibits, and marketing communications solutions for clients that include The Smithsonian Institution, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and The Institute for Learning Innovation. As Lead Interactive Designer for Night Kitchen Interactive, Matthew has produced several educational interactives such as The Art of Storytelling, The Franklin Remixed, The Splendor of 18th-Century Rome, and Lincoln’s Crossroads.

Matthew is an active leader in Philadelphia’s local creative community. Together with a small team of civic leaders led by the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance [www.philaculture.org] and the Arts and Business Council [www.artsandbusinessphila.org] , Matthew spearheaded a two-year regional initiative to produce a global creative summit [www.ipphila.com/creativeeconomy] , a center for arts and entrepreneurship and an online network for the creative community. In 2003, he co-founded City Creatives [www.citycreatives.com] , an online social network for connecting the region’s arts and business communities.

Matthew serves on the Board of Directors for The Philadelphia Area New Media Association (PANMA) and lectures at conferences and area universities such as the University of the Arts and Temple University. He also serves on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Matthew holds a BA in drama/film from Vassar College.
